On March 27, New Zealanders would again be asked to switch off their lights for Earth Hour. But 4 years on, Clemenger BBDO Wellington needed to find a new way to engage people with the message.
So, the idea was to show the effects of climate change at the moment of truth - with a sticker on a light switch. When people switched the light on, they instantly saw the effects of climate change in action. Making them responsible for switching it off.
These stickers were sent across the country, to hotel chains, offices, councils, cafes and movie theatres reaching the fingertips of thousands of New Zealanders.
