"Fifteen bucks for a couple of killer sandwiches. This is good af", says Eduardo, a visually impaired person cast in the leading role in the new commercial to promote Burger King's 2 for 15 campaign. Recognized for diversity and inclusion in its casting, BK launches a campaign with a blind lead for the first time. The campaign was created by DAVID SP. The new campaign for TV and digital media introduces a commercial with audio description in the main audio channel, an unprecedented feature in Brazilian broadcast TV. That is, for the first time both the blind and the sighted are equally impacted by the same movie – in general, this option is available at a secondary channel, to be switched on as one pushes the SAP button. In the film, Eduardo is at a local BK restaurant, wearing the traditional cardboard crown as he savors a Double Cheddar and a Big King, sandwiches in the 2x15 promo. Eduardo gives a brief description of the sandwiches – a cheddar explosion, tender sesame bread – and puns: "one of the things I say I'll believe it when I see it." This is yet another campaign in sync with the global positioning of the brand: "We welcome everyone".
