Already this year’s most sought after collaboration launches with film, stills, live stream DJ set and product photography all produced through London's COMPULSORY, utilising a range of talent from different corners of the industry. The already sold out collaboration between two heavy-weights in style from contrasting worlds of high fashion and outdoor-wear launched online last week with a triumphant campaign that highlighted POC birdwatching crew Flock Together. Director Fiona Jane Burgess crafted a film featuring the Flock Together founders Lalu ‘Ollie’ Olanipekun and Nadeem Perera as the intrepid guides of a whimsical bird watching tour, their guidees were modelling talents Zoe Ose, Nyueth Riam and Ace. An ode to the great outdoors that has served even more purpose to most this last year, and a colourful reflection of the playful collaboration between two brands. Ollie and Nadeem founded Flock Together as a way to challenge a scene they loved, but one they felt didn’t represent them. Now, they host monthly birding walks that serve as a platform to share experiences, find support and deepen a connection with the outside world. Photography was captured by Hollie Fernando, known for her dreamlike approach to shooting the English countryside, making her a perfect fit for this campaign, which seamlessly encapsulates fashion and nature. The whole campaign was shot on Medium Format film including product photography which was captured by Amir Hossain AKA Blackksocks, a rising talent on the COMPULSORY roster. The roll-out was completed by a live stream dj event that featured woodland inspired set design and live birds. The DJ SweetestCape created a lo-fi mix incorporating the live recorded bird song for a two hour set.
