Happiness Saigon: Recreate and Reconnect The Office

Happiness Saigon, an FCB Alliance, has created an 8-bit style virtual office to connect remote working colleagues and help showcase the capabilities of the Metaverse. Junior designer Thảo Nhi Phạm Trần and creative hybrid Nick Stillittano spent a weekend building the entire office as a surprise means for the team to get together. All four stories of the office were recreated in detail, including the creative rooms, the kitchen, and the rooftop BBQ. The agency held its weekly 'beers and cheers’, with a speech from CEO Alan Cerutti in the virtual environment and the agency has started to use the custom platform for other reasons, such as briefings and social hangouts. The metaverse is also public for both talent interviews and chemistry meetings with clients. The agency has long worked with clients to gamify and monetise virtual experiences. For Tuborg in 2020, they created an interactive music video with Vietnam's biggest stars, which changed content based on the amount of people that you viewed it alongside.
