In collaboration with Yahoo Creative Studios and Initiative, Officeworks is bringing back the wildly popular augmented reality (AR) festive photo experience this Christmas, once again giving Aussie families a COVID safe photo option for the holidays. By simply scanning a QR code users can choose from a variety of poses to take a virtual Christmas photo, an experience perfectly fit for today's hybrid world. The campaign was first introduced last year when lockdowns hindered the traditional in-store experience. Off the back of its success, this year the virtual characters stretch beyond Santa Claus with Rudolph joining in on the fun. Users have the option to print in-store, share them with family members and friends across social media, or transform their photos onto one of Officeworks’ personalised gifts. The AR activation will be accessible via the Officeworks AR website, via targeted native ads across the Yahoo Preferred Network, paid social and in-store locations.
