On the 24th of September, the Melbourne Cricket Ground hosted its first AFL Grand Final since 2019. The people of Melbourne, veterans of the worl''s longest lockdown, affectionately refer to the home of Aussie Rules football as the 'G. This was an emotional homecoming for 100,000 at the stadium, millions of people in Melbourne, and the offical Pie of the AFL, Four'N Twenty.
