BuzzBallz: Prohibition Juggler

Embed Video
On a journey of curiosity and conspiracy theories, Blake Anderson, the star from Workaholics, takes the stage in the new BuzzBallz Why Are They Round? campaign. In this series of commercials, Blake finds himself pondering life's big questions, starting with the enigmatic, round shape of BuzzBallz. BuzzBallz have always stood out on the shelves, thanks to their distinct appearance and unique container shape. And now, in partnership with the LA based creative lab, Bacon & Eggs Media, their roundness is brought to the forefront in the brand's first TV and celebrity collaboration campaign. The campaign revolves around a series of spots where Blake is chatting with his friends at a house party. While drinking his BuzzBalls, he is asked, “Why are they round?”. In one spot, Blake explains that in the prohibition, jugglers used to fill their juggling balls with alcohol as a means to sneak past the bouncers at the door, which is where the round shape came from. In another spot, he explains that the round shape was conceived by a prehistoric cavewoman aiming to make her cave parties more safe. So, instead of drinking out of pointy animal horns, they produced the soft, round edges of BuzzBallz. Yes, these are just theories, and no, his friends don’t believe him. But Blake has set out to solve the mystery of why BuzzBallz are round.
