Transport Accident Commission: Crash the Premiere – TAC Split Second Competition

For the sixth year running, the TAC Split Second Competition has given aspiring filmmakers and content creators aged between 18-30 the chance to submit ideas for a short film, focusing on two themes: driving tired and seatbelt usage.

This year, a Hyundai i35 car wreckage took centre stage and became a powerful cinema projector playing the films. A reminder of the stark consequences of a split-second decision.

Led by TABOO, the creators were guided through the filmmaking process, collaborating with TRUCE, MonkeyStack, Manimal and Rumble to help realise their winning ideas.

From idea inception to premiere, this immersive program continues to redefine road safety education by helping young drivers steer the future of road safety.
