Madres Coraje Foundation: Voices that March![]()
When a femicide happens, the first thing silenced is the victim’s voice. That’s why Voices That March was born—an initiative that, using artificial intelligence, brought back the voices of women murdered in acts of femicide. On 25N and 8M, those voices read aloud the messages written by their families, turning posters with built-in speakers into powerful tools for justice.
The idea broke barriers and crossed borders, starting in Ecuador with Madres Coraje and reaching Peru, with Association of Mothers Fighting for Justice. Among many outcomes, one of the most impactful was the extradition of Ecuador’s third most-wanted man from Germany. The initiative also raised over $250,000 in direct aid for victims’ families.
