Research showed that while many truck drivers felt sure of their skills and underestimated the dangers of level crossings, there was one risk they weren’t willing to take: not making it home to their families. We didn’t just tell drivers to stop at level crossings, we let them hear why. Voices from home, carried through the static of the CB radio, travelled with them across Victoria, reminding every driver that the most important cargo is getting back safely to their family.
