Changi Airport: The Week Long Layover

Let’s face it, most people think airports are boring, stressful and worth escaping as quickly as possible. But Changi Airport isn’t just any airport, it’s a world-class destination in itself. We just had to show it.

Inspired by the 2004 film The Terminal, we challenged TikTok star Maddy Macrae to live inside Changi Airport for a week. That’s eat, sleep and stream from within the confines of the airport.

Three times a day, one hour at a time, Maddy broadcast her experience live on TikTok Live, letting fans and followers see everything Changi had to offer, in real time.

But that’s not all. As well as experiencing the world-class attractions and facilities, Maddy flew a superfan out to come and join her for 24 hours. She even held a live shop, allowing viewers to buy souvenirs from the airport, duty-free.
