Spotify: Run The Distance

Everyone knows Spotify Wrapped. That includes our competitors and the most random of entities. Now everyone is copying what we’ve been doing, creating their own undercooked, under-seasoned version of Wrapped. I

So to stand out, we created Run The Distance, a live activation where we turned the listening data into an interactive experience. We took the data of Manana’s amapiano hit “Distance” – 4337 hours of listening time – and turned it into a 43KM marathon. This created an experience that was an intersection of listeners and leggers (those who run, no matter their ability) that brough them closer to Wrapped and Spotify
