LG Washing Machines: Steam Cloud (High Res)

Michael Geoghegan at Spank closed down the centre of San Francisco to shoot BBH's new TV spot for LG Steam washing machines. The film's creative director was John Hegarty, it was written by Adam Thompson and Dan Glover-James with Angela Zabala agency producing. The commercial features a giant steam cloud travelling through the high-rise streets of a modern city, cleaning everything in its path and leaving it looking brand new. Geoghegan chose to do the majority of the steam effect in-camera, pumping liquid nitrogen in hand held cylinders tracking down the streets to create giant walls of steam. This was then enhanced by a team at The Mill lead by Jorge & Wez.
