After 10 years in the European market, the Kia brand is still building awareness and familiarity with consumers. The common perception of Kia is that it is a producer of small fuel efficient cars sold more for their value than for the high quality, well designed cars they actually are.
The introduction of a full 7 year bumper to bumper warranty on all Kia models is a game changer in a market where generally warranties last no longer than 3 years. The 7 Year Warranty will put Kia on the map of car buyers across Europe and increase the perception of Kia as a serious quality brand. The "Research" campaign from David & Goliath London uses the simple truth of a 7 being a larger number than 3 as humorous means to communicate that Kia is the only manufacturer in Europe to offer a 7-Year warranty on all of its cars.
