The commercial from Openco Johannesburg opens on our main character, the comrade Sandile Dubula who is lauded as a hero of the struggle and a committed fighter for the rights of the poor. Dubula is seen in his modest home reading Marxist literature as he talks about giving millions to the underprivileged. Yet we are giving the distinct impression that it’s all too good to be true.
