Hard Yakka: Delivery
Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has launched its first TV ad for Hard Yakka since winning the account in December last year.
The ad, called ;Delivery', is the first TVC the iconic Australian brand has made for eight years and focuses on Hard Yakka Legends workwear pants. Hard Yakka already has a high awareness and level of respect amongst Australian workers – the challenge for Clemenger BBDO Melbourne was to showcase their number one-selling product, the Legends pants and develop the next instalment of the Hard Yakka brand story. Featuring the legendary 'Hard Yakka; chant, the ad was shot in the tough, dirty CB Quarry in Wollongong, NSW over a day and demonstrates how Hard Yakka Legends pants can outlast just about anything. Laura Downey, Hard Yakka brand manager, said that the brand represents much more than just tough, hard wearing functional clothes: Hard Yakka is a badge of belonging. It says you’re a member of the tribe, capable, tough, and up for the challenge," she said.
