Sony and Intel are floating the idea of a nautical adventure, Project Shiphunt, taking a campaign beyond words and into a deep water world with today’s launch of its first web film “Shipwreck Alley.” The Shiphunt team – which includes five high school students – is on a mission to hunt for a sunken ship in the waters of Lake Huron’s Shipwreck Alley, investigate its identity, and document it for future generations. The campaign, created by Santa Monica-based creative agency 180LA and produced and directed by @radical.media, puts the Sony VAIO laptop to the ultimate test: can our ship-hunters use a Sony VAIO laptop with Intel 2nd Gen Core Processors to discover a ship?
