On 22nd February 2012, ING Insurance Malaysia launched their new plan called INGeasi For You. It comprises of a Facebook app, print ads and radio. The brief for Leo Burnett Kuala Lumpur was to convince young people (besides older age groups) to buy an ING investment plan. A tough task as the youth don't like to think long term and their needs are more immediate. Called Meet Your Future Self, the app lets people meet a future version of themselves, who lives the life they dream of. It creates a Facebook profile of them in the future. They can choose to go 5, 10 and 20 years from now. Based on their dreams, they see what their future self does, via pictures and status updates.

The future self travels the world. Owns a Harley. Runs a quaint bookstore. And so on. Everything they’d love to do.
