Coming off the success of the "Blake Time Travels" TV campaign launched at NBA Tip-off, Kia Motors and Blake Griffin have teamed up once again this David & Goliath interactive this time bringing the experience online with the "Take On Blake Dunk Challenge.” "Take On Blake Dunk Challenge" is a 3-D Facebook game where NBA fans attempt to out-dunk the four generations of Blake Griffin featured in the television commercials.
The game consists of four levels of gameplay. In each level, the player will need to beat two opponents before advancing to one of the four Blake Griffins. Each level becomes more difficult as the "Blake" they must beat to win becomes older and more skilled. In the first level, they will challenge Kid Blake (1997). In the second level, Young Blake (2002). In the third level, Teen Blake (2006). And finally, the ultimate competitor, present-day Blake Griffin. From Baby Blake to present-day Blake Griffin, players will dunk their way to the top by collecting coins, customizing their player, and unlocking the tools it takes to win. As part of the game customization, players are encouraged to customize their jersey by selecting their favorite NBA team, and take screenshots of their most impressive dunks to share with Facebook friends. Face-mapping gives users the ability to customize their player even further by mapping their own face to the 3-D body.
