HTC One: HTC One "Subway"

Embed Video
Stink director Norman Bates have just completed their global campaign for HTC One through Ogilvy & Mather Shanghai. With 'Turnaround' they shot over 4 days in Shanghai. Utilising some of the city's grittier locations, finding themselves in abandoned warehouses, tower blocks and up high on rooftops. This combined with them shooting with as much natural light as they could, they managed to give the film a certain, realistic edge. After Shanghai they set off to Prague to shoot 'Subway'. For this the team built a subway carriage from scratch and used the lighting rig to give the impression of motion on the train. With a slightly different feel to 'Turnaround' this film mixes the real with the surreal in a smart blend of casting and content. The HTC campaign is now launched in Europe and other parts of the world.
