This is the new film from DDB Argentina for the Argentine Liver Transplant Foundation. Last year we got emotional with “the man and the dog”, now it’s time to get inspired about organ donation with their newest ad: “The rescue”.
What’s all about? A Bell UH-1 helicopter flies over a war zone, when the pilot sees his fellas down there. In an act of courage, he decides to descend and rescue them, without thinking about explosions. When the soldiers get onto the helicopter, we discover they are regular people dressed as soldiers. The pilot rescues all of them and flies away from the explosions. On the air the pilot looks at each one of them, realising the seven lives he’s just saved. The film intends to show organ donation as an act of heroism, which it really is, by the way.
Becoming an organ donor is an act of heroism because it is a decision that can save lives in the future. And it's so epic and heroic as any other act that saves lives”, explains Beto Cocito, Executive Creative Director at DDB Argentina.
