In Brasil every day at 7pm radio stations are forced to interrupt their programming and broadcast one hour of government news. Radio Sulamérica Paradiso FM know that people turn off their radios and switch over to the app where music programming is allowed to continue normally. With that in mind 3YZ Brasil and Radio Sulamerica Paradiso FM created the "Sound Penalty," monitoring cars while using the app and penalizing those going over the speed limit by forcing them to listen to one minute of new hour through the app.
