Zauberberg is back with its latest film with directing duo Dorian and Daniel. The film is for 'Erste Bank und Sparkasse' which is the oldest bank in Austria. The background to this is that the bank is the first one to join the EU Green Consumption Pledge: The world's problems are man-made. Floods, forest fires, melting glaciers can easily feel like a freak of nature. Yet humans have massively interfered with nature and thrown its natural rhythm out of sync.

We show that we literally have our future in our hands. The approach was to create tableaus that show still lives. Zauberberg wanted the little sets to look like photographs that find their beauty in the disaster they present. It sounds strange but Zauberberg felt the contrast between their peacefulness and their actual message makes their impact stronger. Catastrophes are happening all around the world. To shoot the whole film as if it was one continuous shot gave Zauberberg the feeling that it was like watching the news. You are looking from one disaster to another. While Zauberberg is showing all those scenarios, it was important for the team not to claim that the brand is saving the world but rather to say that there is still a chance to change something.
