To challenge outdated perceptions of radio and digital audio, Commercial Radio & Audio (CRA) - the peak industry body for commercial radio broadcasters across Australia - launched a campaign designed to reignite belief in the power of audio. The campaign centres around a striking product demonstration: a flame surrounded by speakers that play a frequency so powerful that it extinguishes the flame using nothing but sound - serving as a living metaphor for the medium's impact, literal and figurative. Created with sonic specialists, the fire frequency (the sub-bass sound that extinguished the flame) is delivered through our radio ad, guiding listeners to the film to watch it happen at cra.au.
