Berlingo: Django & Berlingo
Challenge:
The Citroën Berlingo, long established as a symbol of versatility and reliability, returns with a new model that redefines comfort, innovation, and practicality. Tailored to the needs of modern Moroccan families and professionals, it combines generous space, bold design, advanced technology, and strong performance. The challenge was to create a campaign that not only resonates deeply with Moroccan audiences but also embodies the fresh, dynamic spirit of the new Berlingo , moving beyond functional messaging to craft a culturally engaging and memorable moment. Creative Concept: The campaign takes shape as a bold cinematic parody inspired by the great western classics, with a playful nod to Django. It embraces the genre’s iconic codes such as duels, rivalries, dust and suspense while twisting them with humor to spotlight the Citroën Berlingo’s modernity, impressive loading capacity and unbeatable practicality. At the heart of the story stands Allal Django, a charismatic merchant cowboy played by Moroccan comedy star Tarik Boukhari. Unlike his rivals who struggle with overloaded carts and outdated transport, he confidently relies on his Berlingo. In a parody showdown, he does not draw a weapon but the key to his vehicle, turning the Berlingo into his ultimate business weapon. IMPACT: The campaign elevated the Berlingo beyond its role as a vehicle, positioning it as the smart and indispensable tool for professionals and families seeking growth, success and balance between work and personal life. By mixing pop culture parody, humor and product storytelling, Berlingo Stories not only delivered a clear and memorable message but also generated strong audience engagement. The playful twist and the presence of Tarik Boukhari helped the brand win new fans, strengthen its cultural relevance and reinforce its image as a bold, innovative and close-to-people brand.
