Biography

Over the years, (and there have been many!), Fiona McGarry has managed to build up a huge network of contacts both in Ireland and across the globe.
She started her advertising career in Peter Owens Limited in 1980 and then moved on to McConnells Advertising Service and stayed for 12 years having progressed to the board of directors of their subsidiary, Pan International Films.
In 1995, Fiona went out on her own and has spent the last 22 years as a freelance Broadcast Producer working on, amongst other things, TV and radio commercials and corporate videos.
She has over 37 years’ experience and at a conservative guess, has made over 20,000 radio commercials and produced over 1000 original TV commercials in that time.
She has excellent relationships with Irish Production Companies, facilities houses, recording studios and also has an exceptional knowledge of local talent in relation to actors and musicians.
Over the years, she has built up valuable relationships with production contacts all over the world.
She has worked on a wide and varied list of accounts over the years which have included everything from large global companies to local Irish businesses e.g. Kellogg’s, Danone, Bord na Mona, Diageo, all major supermarkets, telecommunications companies, and all major banks, to name but a few.
Over the years, she has held positions on IAPI Broadcast Production Committees and has judged on The Industry’s Awards’ panels.
Her depth of experience is invaluable in relation to all aspects of production especially in relation to music and artiste negotiations.
Fiona always ensures the interests of both agencies and of our clients are always well centred in the minds of any production services employed.
Uppermost in her mind is getting good quality creative productions within budget and delivering on time.
