Clemenger BBDO Sydney and PepsiCo have launched a new brand campaign for Smith's potato chips on the eve of Australia Day 2012.

The TVC features iconic Australian actor, Stephen Curry (aka Dale 'I dug a hole' Kerrigan).

In his typically dry manner, Stephen takes us on a tour of modern Aussie life. He celebrates the indisputable role of Smith's chips in the fabric of Australian life and shows how every day, in any number of ways, these chips are making life that little bit better. That's why we love them.

"Like most great Australians, Smith's Chips are humbly iconic. These ads are a little reminder – from one of our most humbly iconic stars – what an important part they play in every Aussie's life," said Paul Nagy, ECD at Clemenger BBDO Sydney.
