HOPLINK: New application HOPLINK

Top 6: July 25th 2018
Hoplink is an application that simplifies user mobility and offers instant access to more than 40 transport networks without any administrative procedure. Users can travel more easily, beyond borders and without any limit.

It is an innovative free service that gathers all the users’ transport cards in one. This device generates savings in terms of production and distribution, positive economic and ecological impacts and sustainable mobility.

Accessible to all networks equipped with a contactless ticketing system based on the Calypso standard (www.calypsonet-asso.org in 125 cities and 25 countries around the world), this solution facilitates interoperability. It means the user can use this service in any transport network member of the alliance.

Hoplink’s speech is intended to be simple and understandable by all the stakeholders: users, authorities, operators and mobility actors.
Depending on the operators involved in this project, the jargon was very different. It was necessary to find a common and commercially effective language. The main challenge was to simplify as much as possible the technical terms to clarify the communication.

Curius was involved in many aspects of the project: creation of a video presentation, many content creations including a commercial communication brochure, posters, emailing, signage etc.

Today, more than 4 million cards are already equipped with Hoplink device.
