Pat is currently the executive creative director of McCann Melbourne. In 2013 the 'Gun Report' ranked McCann Melbourne as the No.1 creative agency in the world and Campaign Brief as the 2013 'Agency of The Year' in Australia. In 2013 the Advertising Age USA ranked Patrick as the worlds No.1 creative director and art director and the 'Directory Big Won' rankings as No.1 art director and No.4 copywriter. He is also the only Australian creative director and art director to have had work awarded by TED.

Cannes winning campaigns include 'Dumb Ways to Die" for Metro Trains (the most awarded campaign in the history of Cannes and D&AD), V/Line's "Guilt Trips" and "The Impossible Orchestra". Pat's work has been recognised with over 300 international awards, including 37 Cannes Lions, 6 Cannes Grand Prix and 18 Cannes Gold Lions. A 'One Show - Best of Show' and 6 Gold One Show Pencils. 16 D&AD's a 'Best Agency D&AD Pencil', the prestigious Black D&AD Pencil and 5 Yellow D&AD Pencils. 7 Webby Awards. 3 Effie Awards. Since graduating from the Swinburne Institute of Technology Pat has enjoyed a career in highly respected creative departments in Australia such as JWT, Clemenger BBDO and McCann. Patrick actively supports his industry on award juries for The New York Festivals, AWARD, Sirens Awards, is an AWARD School judge, Gold Member and tutor, an ADMA (Association for data-driven marketing & advertising) judge and a Melbourne Advertising & Design Club mentor. Pat also presents at creative workshops, seminars and media events.
