Craig Melville

Craig’s spent the last 20 years directing some of Australia’s best loved and most outrageous comedians, including over 120 episodes of television for the likes of The Chaser, John Safran’s and Lawrence Leung.

Since leaving Clemenger Melbourne in 1998 to start his directing career, Craig’s work has won two Australian Directors Guild Awards, two Cannes Lions, Grand Prix at Mumbrella BeFest, six AFI awards along with over 20 awards for music videos. Craig has a solid reputation for comedy within the TV commercials world. His sense of comic timing and intuitive casting is reflected in every single TVC that he directs.

Craig is currently based in New York but shoots frequently in Australia.
