Marcelo Lourenço is one of the founders and the creative director of Fuel Lisboa, the most awarded agency in Portugal.
Under Marcelo Lourenço’s creative leadership, Fuel Lisboa has grown from a start up with 4 people to the 2nd largest agency in the country.
Following a new business winning spree Fuel Lisboa acquired the biggest clients in Portugal - Caixa Geral de Depósitos (Portuguese national bank), Jogos Santa Casa (Portuguese lottery), Worten (the largest electronics chain store in Portugal and Spain) and Continente (the largest supermarket chain in in the country).
Fuel Lisboa has also been the Nº1 Portuguese Agency in the Gunn Report in the last five years and three times Agency of the Year at the prestigious Prémios Eficácia (the Portuguese Effie Awards). It has received awards at Cannes Lions, Eurobest, The One Show, D&AD, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Clio, Fiap, Golden Awards of Montreux and every major award show in the world.
Marcelo Lourenço has been a member of jury panels at the most important creativity festivals around the world - Eurobest, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, New York Festivals, Fiap, Golden Awards of Montreux and Prémios Lusófonos and in 2015, he was invited to be Jury President at the ACDE - Art Directors Club of Europe at the Film & Radio category.
Marcelo Lourenço is a proud father of two daughters and in 2011 published his first book - “O Livro dos Grandes Direitos das Crianças” (The Big Book of Children’s Rights”.
