BEST TVFirst place goes to '
Slip Francois' by BETC Paris, because it's bizarre, intriguing and made us laugh. Which is all you can hope for when selling pants.
Runner Up goes to '
Make room for life' by Mother. It's a good insight and a nice piece of visual story telling, but perhaps the ending is a little too cheesy?
BEST PRINTSome really slim pickings here, but first place goes to '
Bath Tub' by Grey, because it's a true insight and has the potential to be funny...
Runner Up goes to... er... um... okay,
Land Rover.
BEST OUTDOOR Top spot goes to '
Wellington Beer' by Clemenger BBDO, Wellington, because they actually brewed their own beer, which always gets a tick in our book. The Wellington Tourist Board should have nicked this idea.
Runner Up goes to Orbis and their '
Old parts from new' campaign. It's a great charity, doing some great work and the fact that they raised the money needed to keep it going, is a job well done.
BEST INTERACTIVEFirst place goes to '
Stockholm City Mission' by DDB Stockholm. It's a simple way of donating second hand clothes to a worthy charity and probably means that Stockholm will have some of the best dressed 'down and outs' in Europe. And that can't be a bad thing.
Runner Up goes to McDonald's '
Track My Maccas' by DDB Sydney. It's a neat piece of technology and it does a good job of giving people a window into the world of McDonald's Quality Control for their own piece of mind. Personally, if we're ever in McD's we're usually drunk, so we don't care where our stodge comes from just as long as it goes in our stomachs.
Since teaming up together nearly three years ago at DDB London, Aaron and Chris have made numerous campaigns for Terry's Chocolate Orange, Virgin Media, Financial Times and Marmite. Having quickly established themselves as a prolific, award-winning creative team and creative directors at DDB, they decided to go in search of new challenges and now work for the independent agency Wieden + Kennedy, London.
