BEST TVWinner:
Audi: Duel. A perfectly timed film for U.S. politics and great to see a foreign brand feel confident enough to do so. That they invested in such a large production and high profile media buy for what would normally be some shitty hashtag on instagram deserves infinitely much more praise.
Runner-up:
Le Trefle: Wild Trip. While the film dragged on a little too long for my liking, there were enough moments to keep me interested until the end. But I'm not totally sure it was worth the wait.
BEST PRINTWinner:
Hershey's Kisses: Loving Kiss. Bit of an obvious thought and the craft could have been much better, but this was the best of a bad bunch I'm afraid. And I had to pick a winner:)
Runner-up: I couldn't bring myself to pick a runner up. Sry.
BEST OUTDOOR Winner:
Burger King / World Literacy Month. I'm split on this one. Half of me wants to like it. But the other half of me wants to punch the store manager in the face for getting in between me and my Whopper combo meal.
Runner-up:
AP THAI: The Unusual Football Field Project. Living in South East Asia I fully appreciate the shortage of space for many things. That's why I love the thought behind it. But I would love it a lot more if it were more than just a 'project'.
BEST INTERACTIVEWinner:
Le Mouvement du Nid: Girls Of Paradise. With shades of Terre Des Hommes 'Sweetie' campaign from a couple of years ago, this idea definitely takes things further into the macabre underworld of abuse. Definitely powerful/shocking stuff.
Runner-up:
Heineken: Go Places. Really intriguing recruiting idea. Looks like a really fun place to work. But I always kinda thought working on a beer brand would be anyway.
