To help IKEA celebrate 50 years in Australia, we released the world’s first-ever flat-packed FLIP FLÖPS, which yes, must be assembled yourself. Fusing a key brand cue with a national icon sparked a media and social media frenzy. The hyper limited-edition item was made available for customers to win, and each of IKEA Australia’s co-workers received a pair. With the right amount of böunce, cömfort and cushion – the flat-pack FLIP FLÖPS were the perfect way to say thanks to Australians for welcoming IKEA into their homes for the last five decades.
